This is currently way beyond the bleeding edge. I don't think
I've tried
progress gauges with anything other than Motif and MS-Windows. There is
a good chance that there is a bug in xlwgauge.c
I didn't mean for those to get into the CVS tree - I was playing around
with them. They work ok for me here. If you grep for (fboundp 'progress)
in w3-parse.el and url-http.el, you should be able to remove them easily.
Or just (fmakunbound 'progress)
