Same thing as in any CVS command, select the revision of each file to
map the tag to.
The -r is just paranoia. It also is often useful to use the rtag
command in scripts instead of the tag command, and in that case you do
need to give a specific revision for each file since there is no
workspace to refer to.

That depends. At the rate you release sumos, I would say not needed;
just tell people that if they want a pretty fresh but stable version
of any given package, use -r sumo-current. If they need something
newer than that, use -A (to clear any stick tags and get the bleeding
edge).
