My apologies in advance if this is the wrong list to use. I've been
using XEmacs for a couple of years and am finally trying to transition
to an Emacs mailer of some kind. Since I do everything over IMAP, my
only options appear to be GNUS and Wanderlust
(
http://www.gohome.org/wl/). Wanderlust isn't part of the standard
packages, which is why I was hesitant to post on this list about it.
Has anyone had any luck getting Wanderlust to work under recent XEmacs
incarnations? If so, did you have to do anything special?
I get to the folder summary just fine, but it hangs when checking for
IMAP mail, and yields a number of warnings along the lines of:
(1) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (error Autoloading failed
to define function elmo-field-body)
I have very verbose stack traces if anyone would care to try and
duplicate my problem, but will hold off spamming the group with them
until I find out if I should even try getting Wanderlust to work or not.
:)
Thanks!
