I have a patched editclient.sh that runs xauth merge correctly from
xemacs if XAUTHORITY is set. actually now XEmacs seems to be better
when its not authorized to connect to the display and just come back
with an "X server not responding".
Yeah, I have a similar script. Got it from this mailing list I believe. Man,
that was irritating.
