MEW error

Hi, I tried using mew on XEmacs 21.5 (beta6) i586-pc-win32 build using MSVC 6.0 compiler. I get an error when I type 'mew'. On debug-on-error set, I get the following message: -- Error message begin -- Signaling: (wrong-type-argument char-or-string-p nil) byte-code("..." I have a version which is 3.0.53 and the one supplied is 1.94.2.
