Well I'm not sure about what use case we really started from but the
problem I see can be recreated like this. Run occur, copy from *Occur*
and paste into *scratch* and you will still have the highlighting and
the tooltips saying "mouse-2: goto this occurrence". The later is of
course wrong.
Selecting the entire *Occur*-buffer and executing M-x
make-highlighting-unsticky before copying does unfortunately not
change this. Both the highlighting and tooltip is still copied.
And it is not the right place to fix this I think. You won't know
until the time of pasting that you copied to much.
