I have now tried with "make clean" first. Same result.
I've seen reference here about building in separate directory. My config. is
== CVS =====> /usr/local/src/xemacs/xemacs-21.5/ configure
== build ====> /usr/local/src/xemacs/xemacs-21.5/i686-pc-cygwin/ *
is that significant?
