Lucky even you. My GTK-XEmacs wouldn't even get there. After 15mins
(really!) and 180MB, I tried pressing C-g (20x?) in the XEmacs-window,
but no reponse. Pressing C-c in the console-window where I startet
XEmacs helped. I instantly could use XEmacs.
I'm attaching the output of `show-memory-usage' and
`describe-installation'; it seems the "cons"-part is consuming nearly
all of the memory.
Btw, starting "XEmacs -vanilla" just gives me 14MB memory usage.
