Well, the TeX fonts aren't that beautiful by themselves; what makes
TeX beautiful is the kerning.
Evidently what these guys do is like what happens with latex2html etc:
they run a TeX process in the background and somehow display the DVI
output. I would bet that this is not a good way to get fast
redisplay....
The Changelog (

had some suggestive entries; I don't think we could consider
integrating this in the forseeable future.
OTOH, we might be able to port (it looks to be a VHLL built on C++)
some of the code for creating appropriate DVIs and rendering them into
subwindows.... Andy? (as if you didn't have enough to do already!)
