Well, maybe. My experience with debugger backtraces is that they
sometimes miss certain functions on SPARC hardware, particularly small
ones, because certain compiler optimizations fool the debugger (like not
establishing a stack frame for the function, IIRC).
Jean-Louis might be able to get a better backtrace using pstack(1).

Would you take a look at the "Platform" popup (click the '(list)'
link) on the tracker (doesn't matter which issue), and let me know if
you think it would be worth adding "sparc" as CPU and/or "solaris" as
OS to that list?
For context, assume that if we do add them, we'll end up with maybe a
dozen CPUs and two or three dozen OSes, and that not all that many
users will set them properly (although in theory it would be possible
to use Installation information to do it automatically, I don't see it
happening soon).
