There’s no smaller national standard that includes it, though, so I’m not going to propose immediately adding it to XEmacs. See the recently committed docstring change for unicode-to-char for details on how to add temporary support for it yourselves, at http://cvs.xemacs.org/viewcvs.cgi/XEmacs/xemacs/src/unicode.c.diff?r1=1.2...

Redisplay will work on the sjt-xft branch, but not with server-side X11 fonts as is the default. However, data read in will be preserved when they are written out again.
