Aichner that XEmacs already included crypt.el as a standard file (which
I had not known), and that their/your crypt.el *was* crypt++.el, just
not installed under that name. Hence the pointer in my README and
ChangeLog. Is something awry? Is it not supported in XEmacs either?
Something is slightly awry; the version we’ve been distributing is much
older than 2.92. We can fix that, though.
Anyway, you're right that I can't support it any more. I get
occasional
email about it, and my response is always "would you like to be the
maintainer" :). So far, no takers ...
