but presumably this would be easier if you had
something to run that output a full list of dependent packages first.
I had started trying to write such a tool, and greatly underestimated
the difficulty of doing so. A few times I told Steve it would be ready
"real soon now", and didn't deliver. I would like to apologize for this,
and basically "come clean" and admit that my approach to the static
analysis of the Lisp sources was fundamentally flawed. I might come
back to working on such a thing, if I get a bunch of free time
(unlikely). I just want to make sure nobody is still waiting for
me to upload this thing, which I have relegated to the scrap-heap...
