A so-called "SUMO" tarball containing (almost) all the packages has
been planned. The specifics have not yet been agreed on, but I think
the complete tarball will exist.
3. I had a problem with the skk package. It seems I downloaded and
installed that but built XEmacs w/o MULE (since none of my people
use it anyway). XEmacs would not start since the skk package got
loaded at run-time (somehow), but it couldn't load `mule'. Seems
like skk should be a little more robust.
Yes, that's pretty lousy. I also solved that problem by rm'ing skk/.
