Please do. They will pay more attention to users than to us, in
general. That's what they are there for.

It's an inherent problem of the distributed development model used by
open source that distros like SuSE will find that features that they
need are not available in the publicly released versions of the
applications they combine into their system. Then they must make
compromises.
Yes, it was a difficult decision but I believe that XEmacs 21.5.x
works much better on recent versions of SuSE Linux because of the much
improved Unicode/UTF-8 support.
SuSE Linux uses UTF-8 by default for a long time already and XEmacs
21.4.x has so many problems with UTF-8 that it is barely usable in an
UTF-8 environment.
