I encountered the same problem as Malcolm and tested the shadowing as you
suggested. However, the problem does not seem to be that lpr.el from
os-utils shadows ps-print/lpr.el (it is the other way around). I
verified this by doing M-x find-library RET lpr RET --- which gives me
ps-print/lpr.el.
The problem seems to be, that the variable lpr-windows-system is not
defined as variable in ps-print/auto-autoloads.el.
