The file, lisp/package-get-base.el, needs to be updated (by
Steve???).
The package-get-base.el in the distribution must be considered
advisory at best.
This file contains the database of new/available packages. In B55,
it lists 1.24 as being the latest, but 1.25 exists in the package
directory.
