It is a pity since the new icalendar will have nice import and
export functionality. However I have not seen anybody (besides me)
interested in the package so at the moment I don't feel to
investigate the 21.4 specific problem in more detail.
As an XEmacs Packages user you can get isolated from the world out
there. So what you don't know about you don't miss. I don't know what
is in icalendar but I guess I would be interested if I knew ;-)
Your problem with lack of 21.4 support is exactly the situation I
would want to avoid by lifting 21.5 as much so that it could replace
21.4. Then your investigation could provide valuable information for
what to add to the XEmacs core and it would likely get done too. So
all would benefit.
