Does it always not recognize the host type MS> when it works? no - maybe that's an artifact of reporting the bug from another xemacs that hadn't actually connected to ftp.mozilla.org I just opened a connection there and did an efs-report-bug and saw: efs believes that the host type of ftp.mozilla.org is bsd-unix. (I couldn't quickly find a better way of finding that other than just going through the motions of reporting a bug and then aborting... anyway...) -JT
