Hi Gang!
I have just committed a patch to turn the PGP verification stuff back
on in PUI (I had temporarily turned it off). I'm looking for testers.
What you need:
Latest CVS HEAD
Mailcrypt package installed.
A working GnuPG or PGP executable of some kind.
The only "configuring" you should need to do is with GnuPG, and there
all you really need to do is add to ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf:
keyserver-options auto-key-retrieve
keyserver
x-hkp://pgp.mit.edu (just my setting, you don't
have to use this keyserver).
What to do:
Something with PUI, quite a few things will trigger the PGP
verification:
Tools -> Packages -> Set Download Site -> choose
Tools -> Packages -> List and Install
M-x package-get-package-provider RET patch-keywords
RET
M-x package-get-info RET gnus RET maintainer RET
(Try that last one with a prefix arg and you'll see why I use it _all_
the time.)
What I want to know:
Of _any_ problems you had.
As long as you have a working GnuPG and have Mailcrypt installed,
everything should run smooth as silk.
And while you guys do that, I'll go work on relieving PUI of it's
dependence of EFS. :-)
Have fun.
