Hm, for me Mozilla isn't even usable *locally* for me on a 300Mhz
PII. I suppose it's possible that this doesn't get any worse when
squeezed over DSL.

Well, I've got the toolbar switched off, and I routinely use XEmacs
over a 38400bps modem line. It isn't spiffy, but it's quite
bearable. Over DSL, XEmacs essentially feels almost like it's run
locally for me.
