texinfo.tex is to old in 21.4 too (was: Latest 21.5 updates: texinfo breaks in compiling)

it has. I just got a bug report on gentoo on that.
Will we patch 21.4 as well?
I guess the texinfo.tex files are different on 21.4 and 21.5 so that
part of the patch can't be used. How much needs to be updated in
textinfo.tex for it to work with texinfo 5.x?
