I think the code is pretty well shaken down. Have you compared code
size between having it enabled and disabled? Enabling MINIMAL-TAGBITS
results in a substantial size increase.
What is the general view on code _speed_? If I recall correctly, on
non-Mule native-build Windows/x86 running some benchmarks with gung-ho
was (very marginally) slower. Is this the general experience?
