Oh, c'mon. This is the developers' list, he asked specifically about
.Xresources. There are lots of people who should know better who post
from Windows boxen (Andy, Ben, Adrian, ... ;-).

Yup. Only works for me. Really: sample.Xresources only exists in my
workspace and in a reference on xemacs-patches, until ten minutes ago.
