AFAIK this doesn't help very much because XEmacs has no header-line
as GNu Emacs 21.X and this package is completely based onto this
feature.
all right, but let me rephrase what i was trying to tell...
1) at least epidermically, tabbar looks better and better conceived
than xemacs' buffer tabs,
2) then, maybe some ideas are worth stoling, if stoling code is
impossible...
