Ok. I'll try get get Hg going somewhere. Anything like pcl-cvs for
Hg? Does vc support Hg? (I wasn't following the move to Hg very
closely.)

Did that. Nothing changed because I didn't change any of my XFT
fonts, and my Courier New happens to support Cyrillic anyway. (If I
use Vera Sans, then things would have changed since my Vera Sans
doesn't support Cyrillic or Greek.)
