FWIW, I have been building every release on Digital UNIX (or whatever
Compaq calls it) using DEC C with no problems. This requires a recent
patch to DEC C that was made by Compaq specifically to make event.c
compile. So even Digital^H^H^H^H^H^H^HCompaq is providing a bit of
support.
I have been very pleased with most recent beta and pre-releases of
21.0 on DU and use it heavily as my editor on several systems.
While I don't call myself a developer for DU (I stick to the elisp
code), those doing it seem to be doing fine from my perspective.
