For basketball?
No, for American football. I've played some recreative basketball,
and learned to like it. The amusing part is that I didn't care for
the technical subtleties of the game -- I was usually near the basket,
catching the missed balls and bouncing them back in. In longer games,
when I got tired of jumping, I used to simply stopped jumping and
simply catch balls by placing my hands in the air. It frustrated the
opponents. :-)
P.S.
Soccer is immensely popular in Croatia. I'm trying very hard to
survive the World Cup.
