Hrvoje, you are very right that iso-2022 sucks hugely.
in the process of getting mule under windows working, i'm being forced to put
unicode encoding natively into mule. as soon as this is in a bit better shape,
i will look into adding support for the "language tags" recently introduced in
unicode, and then we can convert all those goddamn files to utf-8.
in the meantime, however, i'm fixing the iso2022 code so it will process unknown
final chars without problem -- i.e. we will be able to compile files with
viscii, devanagari, and other weird chars in them without the need for these
charsets to be created.
