I applied this patch, and it helped - kind of... but getting the package index still fails, with the following messages: ----------------------------- cut here ----------------------------- Opening FTP connection to ftp.xemacs.org... Listing /anonymous＠ftp.xemacs.org:/pub/xemacs/packages/...done Opening input file: No such file or directory, /anonymous＠ftp.xemacs.org:/pub/xemacs/packages/package-index.LATEST.pgp ----------------------------- cut here ----------------------------- (And this also happens with --vanilla.) I'm stumped... any ideas? One thing that's changed is, I moved from nt4 to w2k - but how could this be related I don't know.
