On Win32, clearcase apparently maps views as
"//view/viewtag/foo/bar" _and_ _also_ as "m:/viewtag/foo/bar",
where "m:" is the clearcase.el default that needs to be
customized (clearcase-viewroot-drive) if the actual installation
uses a different drive letter.
Hmmm. Not as far as I know. On Win32 (WinNT 4.0 and CC <= 4.0), I
believe clearcase maps mounted views under a drive letter (typically
"m:"). I don't think Win32 knows about "//view" -- is that a
Cygwin
thing?
My setup on Windows has been messed up for awhile and I don't need it
anymore, so it's hard for me to test this.
Currently, we pretty much fail to do something sensible when
clearcase-viewroot-drive is not matching the actual clearcase
settings.
That should be a given. I don't suppose that (X)Emacs can get
information out of the Windows registry... :-\
