Probably. The GNU syntax is more concise and prettier. The
question
is if any XEmacs code depends on some interpretation of (A B C)
currently, vs. (A (B C)). That's bad practice but could happen I
suppose.
The odd thing is that the way I read the GNU docs it should really be
a list. Maybe it is a bug or I'm not reading it properly. ;-)
