Thanks it seems that I found it
hg clone https://bitbucket.org/xemacs/xemacs-21.4
Gave me the 21.4, which I understand is a subrepo of xemacs.
In any case I sent already a patch, which treats the problem I
described. I am curious to hear the opinion of others.
