Thanks! So far, that patch seems to have fixed the problems with KDE's kwin and
Gnome's metacity.
Compiz (Novell's combined composite/window manager for Xgl) still has some problems
but it seems to be better now, too. It's so new that I wouldn't bother about that
yet.
