21.4.8 garbage collection crash
Running Gnus, entering a group, mouse cursor changed to the garbage
collection watch, froze, and then departed.
There was no lisp backtrace at all; just the usual "ask your
administrator for help" comment, followed by "lisp backtrace follows,"
following which was nothing.
