Marcus, I was unable to reproduce this, though I don't have a db2 to
test with. But it works for me as expected with PostgreSQL, and the
code for that and DB2 is practically the same.
I'd suggest that you first try updating your XEmacs packages, see the
instructions at the XEmacs web site [1] (for 21.4, it's Tools->Packages
instead of Options->Manage Packages) or since you're on Win32, use
netinstaller.
The sql.el author might also be able to help, see [2].
