You're on your own at the moment. :-/
You might look at JDE, which (I think) builds and installs compiled
Java whatever-they-call-them. Is xoobr a standalone app? In that
case, it probably should install as a sibling of xemacs and etags, and
the package infrastructure is not set up for that. Otherwise, you can
install to ./lib-src/oobr/xoobr and call it directly from the oobr
code, right? I think you just add that path to some exec-path
variable in Lisp when the oobr Lisp loads.
