FreeBSD socha.net 3.4-RELEASE, updated from CVS like described at
cvs.xemacs.org last night.
It seeems you use BSD make, instead of GNU make. GNU make is
normally installed as `gmake' (not `make') by ports/package
system of FreeBSD. Try `gmake all'.
