As a workaround, you might try using --with-widgets=(one of lucid,athena,msw,gtk,motif; msw or athena seem most likely) and --with-dialogs=(same options). Or you could configure --with-x11=no. I would hope this would give you a vanilla MS config with MSW dialogs and widgets.
