Not from the people who understand that code. Ben and I are busy
doing other things. The original contributor says he doesn't
understand how it affects non-Japanese locales, which is damning.
Well I now in which way it affects non-Japanese locales - it breaks
them. This is just a revert to a state when everything worked, so I
really don't see the problem.
