I am a little confused now. Do I understand correctly the
relevant patch is the last one you already committed, so I
will download 21.5.31 and try it out? So no need to apply
the x-symbol patch you sent me in the last email?
No, I'd like you to try the x-symbol patch. If that works, I may
later decide to revert the patch to face-property-matching-instance,
for the reasons I discussed earlier.
