yes.
If he wanted to install by menu he should have installed the
xemacs-base and the efs packages by hand.
then he should have been able to install everything i think.
doing the mv $prefix/xemacs-21.1.6 to $prefix/xemacs/xemacs-packages was not
correct at all.
aside: we should still consider bundling whatever is the current
xemacs-base and efs package with the current release and add some
Makefile rules to have them installed autmatically if they don't
exist.
At the rate it's going, it's going to take years before the general
populous decides to figure out packages i think.
They want installation to be as easy as possible, and I quite agree
with them. I sympathize quite a bit since i tend to download lots of
various source code thingies i find on
www.freshmeat.net and i just
don't have the time to go into lengthy trial and error
configurations/installations until it finally works.
