We're there! All tests on my system pass 100%. To keep true to my
word, I'll do my best to release 21.5.12 before this day is out.
I'd like to personally thank each and every one of you that helped to
clean up 'make check'. With special mention to:

For negotiating with the GNU folks and doing the actual coding
to fix lisp-tests. And also for the work he did with the
regexp-tests.
Jerry James
For actually finding what the problem with the lisp-tests
actually was.

For his contributions to fixing the regexp-tests.
Miles Bader (from GNU)
For giving Steve ideas for a solution to the lisp-tests
(split-string).
