It's cygwin rcs 5.7-3 for me.
separator for both Cygwin and native? Patches welcome.
I can change directory-sep-char and "many things" will continue to
work as expected. I have not looked deeply into this.
The problem with my test-case might be that I transferred a RCS file
from gwyn to my Windows XP laptop and experimented with that copy.
I am using rcs successfully on file I put under RCS from my laptop in
the first place.
Don't spend much time on this one until I come back with more data.
