Yes, that is the correct mechanism -- dumping cannot be used. To
clarify:
1. You build a purified temacs (only). You do not build xemacs, and you
do not dump.
2. To run XEmacs, you use:
make run-temacs
[ At least, that is supposed to be the correct mechanism. I haven't
used it in quite some time, and so I don't know if it still works. ]
