It's a change. 21.4 is frozen, all changes are bad by definition,
unless they fix major problems. I accept a lot of bad by definition
patches because otherwise my head would lase, what can I say? It's
still my job to say "no", not "yes".
Submit your patch against 21.5 and resistance will most likely
evaporate, or at least become a lot more constructive. Not only that,
it will move the release date of 21.5 up by a few microseconds. If
everybody would do that, pretty soon we'd find out that 21.5 was
released yesterday! :-)
