RE: JDE mode not fontifying correctly; syntax table problems? (21.5.11)
Keymaps inherit, but syntax tables do not inherit the way GNU does
(maybe that was Jin Choi's patch, though?) I looked at the syntax
inheritance issue, but got side-tracked. It's not obvious how to
handle it.
So we probably need to copy then - this seems easy enough, but why doesn't
derived.el do this already?
