The ML scrubs non-text attachments, which means they show up as links
in the archive,

I assume there is no name conflict with existing files, since you're
using them?
However, there doesn't seem to have been a .xcf attachment? Did you
forget it, or did Mailman silently delete it? (The answer matters,
because I can probably configure Mailman to treat XCF like PNG if it
isn't already. And I'll make sure that Barry doesn't let MM3 delete
things silently!)
