I'm having a slow week (month, year, life, ...). I'm perfectly happy
with having pasteability limited to whatever I have highlighted. The
highlighted bit is the primary selection you're talking about, right?
I don't expect things that I've killed to be pasteable. Does this
mean that I should be fine if I set interprogram-cut-function and
interprogram-paste-function to nil?
Yes. That will make C-w, M-w, C-y etc internal to XEmacs. To cut/paste
to/from other applications, use C-insert/Sh-insert.
