================================================================ Dear Bug Team! I have just compiled XEmacs for Solaris. When using it, any buffer that it attempts to fontify hangs indefinitely with the progress slider indicating around 5% done (I typically notice it in VHDL mode but it also shows up when just editing my .emacs). While in this state, the progress slider and "stop" button are flashing like mad. Somewhere between 10-20 clicks in the progress window seems to walk it out of the hang condition (progress bar moves slightly with each click). When it finally goes away, the buffer is properly fontified.
